C. Who receives your information

  • Shopify (Shopify International Limited, Ireland, and its group companies and subcontractors), which hosts the Store, runs checkout and processes payments through Shopify Payments, on our behalf and under our instructions. Our store data is hosted in the European Union. If you use Shopify's Shop app, for example to track your order, Shopify processes your information in the app as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.
  • Other payment services you choose at checkout, such as PayPal, which process your payment under their own privacy policies. If you pay with a digital wallet such as Apple Pay, its provider handles your wallet information under its own privacy policy.
  • Our fulfilment partner, our manufacturer, Shenzhen Hongwang Nicemay Electric Co., Ltd., in China, which prepares and ships your order. It receives your name, shipping address, phone number if you gave one, and the contents of your order.
  • Carriers and postal operators, which transport and deliver your parcel, and customs authorities, which may receive the information required for import clearance.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where needed to defend our rights or required by law.
  • Shopify, for the purposes described in the row on Shopify Network Intelligence, acts as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (privacy.shopify.com), not on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

D. International transfers

Some recipients are located outside the European Economic Area:

  • Shopify's group companies and subcontractors, including in Canada, which benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision, and in other countries under the safeguards in Shopify's data processing terms (Standard Contractual Clauses and Binding Corporate Rules);
  • our fulfilment partner in China, to which we transfer your order information to ship your order. China has no European Commission adequacy decision, and we have not signed Standard Contractual Clauses with this partner: we transfer this information because it is necessary to ship your order.
  • carriers delivering your parcel in your country, which receive the delivery information from our fulfilment partner.

You can ask us for information about these safeguards at hello@loomiglide.com.

Card numbers are held by our payment providers, not by us. At the end of these periods, we delete or anonymise the information, at least once a year.

F. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask us for access to your personal information, its correction or deletion, the restriction of its use, and a copy in a portable format. You can object at any time to the use of your information for marketing, and, for reasons relating to your situation, to any use based on our legitimate interests. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise these rights, write to hello@loomiglide.com. We reply within one month. We may ask for information to confirm your identity.

You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr, 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France), or with the data protection authority of the country where you live or work, if it has one.

If you live in a US state whose privacy law applies to us, you also have the rights that law gives you, as described in the rest of this Privacy Policy.

G. Automated decisions

Shopify's fraud analysis gives us risk indicators on orders. A person at our business reviews an order before we cancel it on fraud grounds. We do not make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you based solely on automated processing.

H. Marketing emails and our brands

Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time by writing to hello@loomiglide.com. We may sell under several brand names; we do not use your details to send you marketing for products of another of our brands unless you have agreed to it.
